The EEBDs are only used for escape from a compartment that has a hazardous atmosphere to provide personnel breathing protection. Not to be used for fire fighting, entering oxygen deficient voids or tanks, or worn by fire fighters.
There is a pressure gauge on the cylinder to indicate the cylinder pressure. The cylinder pressure of EEBD is not indicated by a pressure gauge during storage.
The hood is a flame resistant head over which completely covers the head, neck, and may cover portions of the shoulders, there is a clear window on it.
Easy to use, open the cylinder valve and put the hood on head when use.
The emergency escape breathing devices are approved by CCS, DNV-GL(EC/MED) and meet the following standards:
Rgulation (EU) 2017/306, item No. MED/3.41. SOLAS 74 as amended, Regulation II_2/13, FSS Code 3 and IMO MSC/Circ. 849.
